look, I'm floating

I basically used the magnetic lasso tool, then did all the touchup work with the lasso and masking. I applied a 1.1 pixel gaussian blur when I was done.

Well done. I don't know what your skill level is (yet), but you did a nice job. Difficult photo to extract yourself from.

You could pay a little more attention to the area around the hair. It looks pretty chopped off and plastic-headish. Also a little more attention around the feet and the inside of the pant legs.

Otherwise, well done.

Much better on the cropping this time.

You have a 'issue' with the perspective of the upper light saber. The way your hand is positioned, the blade of the saber should be pointing away from the viewer. But where the blade meets the handle, makes it look like the handle and blade are pointing towards us. I think you can correct this with some simple editing of the handle and where the light meets it.

Here's a quick sketch of what I mean.



Also, your purple light saber is not as "intense" as the green. Overall, good job of one upping P-man! Still haven't fixed the face yet, tho....

I agree on the perspective thing with malibu. And like he said, should be a quick fix. The sabers look good though, as well as the crop job. Good stuff.
