Should be interesting. Combine a flat 2D background with some pseudo 3D work. And like Dek said.

Use only photoshop/illustrator, and start from scratch, not a photo manipulation. Any native PS/Illustrator filter...

I'd like to request an extension until at least Saturday night... I just started a major web project last night and don't have much time to work on the image...

Well I'm going to post mine now, because I'm going out of town today and won't be around the computer tonight.

Charm

Deker's entry was good, but definitely doesn't show the 3D in the foreground as much as Charm's does. Deker's also doesn't have a flat background. It has some gradient on it, which makes it sorta less-flat.

Charm followed the rules the closest and gets my vote.

Though if we're going on deadline. Deker wins because he made his in time. Not sure if Charm's moving (excuse? ) will affect this contest.

deker's entry is funny.

I like charm's one too, deker's one won on the funny part.

Dek's is more visually appealing. Plus I really like the lightning/magic coming out of the wizard's hand.
