TPS Challenge 8: Mattboy vs. Eather (complete)

I just don't like the way Speed Racer and the monkey were cut out. They have very poorly masked out/cut out edges (sorry Eather, ya gotta work on that).

Mattboy wins only because it looks "cleaner". The decal application on Matts isn't very good, IMO. Why would the SONY decal be cut in between the N and the Y by the door edge? Shoulda been totally within the boundaries of the door.

And the Sprint logo on front is oddly placed on the side of the car. If its supposed to be that way, its not warping correctly according to the perspective and shape of the car.

i've seen the other challenge of eather and this one looks so much better! That's why eather gets my vote, only because i can see the improvement in his work.
I like the monkey... :D

He did a good job applying that ugly color to the car. And the grass is nice....

Eather.. to much stuff .... to loose the monkey and racerx is a good idea. The snow on the tires is very nicely done though.

i agree with the others on Eather's pic, it just looks too jumbled.

Matt, those tracks don't look very good imho. Good job overall, though!!

i was very impressed with how you made the sprint logo wrap around the hood like that, excellent job
