Redfoxx's has too much obvious filter and layer style usage. Tame your filters and layer styles. I use them all the time as well, but you have to make them not look quite so much like a filter/layer style to make good looking digital art.

Cyan's is decent. Though the odd mixture of different formats of pictures (blurry, sharp, professional stock photos, and that amatuer photo of that desk) makes it look sorta freaky to my eyes. I would have blurred, sharpened, and adjusted curves until all the pictures looked like they belonged together in that montage. That and none of the angles match up with the objects.

She stuck more to the theme. Bogus is right about the photos. Crisper images would make that look a lot better.

I think the weirdness kinda adds an "unreal" feel to it too, but I also think it works to the images advantage given the theme.
