** Pixel Tournament 2 Rules **

Task: Create a promotional flyer for the Carnival coming to your town.

Specifications: You may use any text/photos you want. But only photoshop. No 3d programs or anything else. Final size should be 800 tall by 650 wide.

Mandatory elements: You must include the name of the carnival, Bob Pankala's Carnival of Kerning. As well as the location, which would be YOUR home town.

Other than that, go nuts. Use as many photos/text as you want.

Carnival Of Kerning? .. could you explain on that.

A flyer can also be a poster rite? Cause usually, if my school has any events, their flyers are almost the same as their poster.

Yeah, a flyer, a poster, just some sort of advertisement. (paper advertisement). Just make sure your final image is the correct dimensions.

What does "Carnival of Kerning" mean? nothing really... it's the only design related word I could think of that somewhat rhymed with carnival...

But for those of you who don't know, Kerning is when you control the spacing between individual letters. You can increase or decrease the space between letters in photoshop and pretty much all other graphics programs.

However, your flyer/poster doesn't have to have anything to do with Kerning. It's just a title. So just use it as a title if you wish, or you can incorporate some obvious Kerning into your design if you want... just make sure you include the full "Title text" somewhere in your design.

Ack.... I'm a day behind.... Didn't even see the second round posted.. Shiat.. lol Anyways, when you say any photos/text but only photoshop. does that mean that I can use pictures taken from a digital camera? or only photos that came with photoshop? Sorry! Thanks!

Yup, i pretty sure you can use any photos, cause i saw Amenranozira
used some stock photos. He said you should go nuts with it :D

when is the deadline? I'm slammed today. Maybe I missed that part. sorry if that's the case

time limit is 48 hrs from when he sets up the active wars. i believe

deadline will be tuesday night at about 11:20 PM (central time)
