Automation?

I'm looking for a way to automatically superimpose my logo onto over 1000 .jpg files. The alternative 1 by 1 way of doing it seems rather grueling...I wondered if there is a way of automating this prosess with photoshop 5.5 or 6

Yes, by Batch Processing.
1. Put all the images in one folder
2. Create an action that does what you want (pasting the logo)
3. Go to File: Automate: Batch...
4. Select your action, and the source folder (where the images are)
5. Destination lets you save and close the images, leave them open, or save new copies in another folder.
6. Click OK, sit back, & relax.
