Is there a way to add to a selection once it's been saved? Without saving several selections? I tried saving with the same name but a bunch of selections with the same name are saved.

Hawking,
Here's a couple options: After adding to your original saved selection, choose Select: Save Selection... again and select your old one from the Channel: pop up menu. Then select the Add to Channel radio button below. That's It.

Another way is to edit the Channel directly. Saved selections are stored in your Channels Palette, where your image's color information is stored, as Alpha Channels. Go to your Channels Palette and click on the selection's channel to make it active. What you'll see looks just like a Layer Mask. And like a Layer Mask you can edit it with Black and White. Add White to the channel and you're adding to the saved selection. Add Black, and you're subtracting from the selection. Click the composite channel at the top of the palette when you're done to return to your original image view.
