Color Prob's

I am having a problem when saving anything with a blue color value for the web. It seems to take on purple. Any idea what is causing this?

Try this Mike. Go to your File/Color Settings/RGB Setup, and if the "Display using monitor compensation" is checked- uncheck it. Often times this will cure your problem. The problem occurs when this box is checked because you are not seeing the color for what it really is. You are seeing a compensated version while in Photoshop and then when you save the file and see it in your browser it appears to be a different color. This will also affect all colors, not just blues. Hope that helps...
