my scrollbar

ive decided since i cant figure out what the hell is going on in those scrollbar tutorials (since i didnt make it and dont know where everything comes together) i have decided to attempt to make one myself... of course i plan on this forum doing most of my work for me;) ...im just telling you guys this so you know...but anyways to me real question about the scroll bar. how do i access the scroll property... do i have to make the whole thing in flash from scratch or is there something like _root.mytextfield.scroll or soemthing like that?

Ok, here is the deal. Yes, we do quite enjoy helping people or we would not be here. But only people who are willing to help themselves. You have got to do some of this stuff on your own or you are never going to really learn anything. Go through ALL the tutorials that come with flash. Go to were-here, ultrashock, flashkit and READ some of the forums dealing with AS. I replied to your PM and told you what books I have read and what you should be reading as well.

Don't take this the wrong way. I'm by no means bitching at you. Call it tough love ;)

Just look at this forum. The last 15 topics are all yours. You have got to do some of this on your own. Trust me. Someday you'll thank me...

Now do us all a favor and take a few weeks and just research. Don't make ANY new threads here or I'll ban you from posting in this forum until we see that you are doing some of this on your own
