You will have people leaving your site immediately if you do that. I hate it when people's sites mess with my browser, and in most cases I will leave immediately and never come back because of it. Bad idea.

Same with me, well my site isn't good. I'd like to know if there is such thing as auto adjust depending to the user's screen size?

in other words nobody knows the answer.. i dont think i meant changing it that much so people will leave. its just that most sites fit on every screen perfectly.. never to big having a smaller screen. thanks anyway. |

they're just desined with that in mind though. designed so that it will look best at one resolution but still good at most others. view this home page in different resolutions and maybe you'll understand what I mean. |

Most of us know how to do it, or know where to look to find out, we just don't want you to use it, because it's terribly annoying. ;) Try www.hotscripts.com they have every script you could ever need. And strongly reconsider using it. It's a very bad habit to get into. You need to learn to make your site look good in every resolution, not take control of people's computers so that your site will look ok. |

Here's my opinion. If your site is going to have a graphical interface, pick your preferred size and left align or center align the page. Don't even try making it look good in different resolutions!! However, if you want to make your site look good in all resolutions, your site isn't going to contain many graphics. It will mostly be text. Then you put it into a table of width equal to 100%. Or your could make a Flash site which is vector. |
