need advice

i'm re-doing a crappy front page site for someone, but i love my dreamweaver (and it sucks except the content). anyways, i was trying to figure out whats best if all i really want is have the main header image (sliced and diced in image ready) to stay on top.. iframes, server side include, or what?

if you mean that you want that to be on top of every page, use ssi. avoid frames when at all possible if you can use includes
