Draw your circle. While the circle is still selected, bring out guidelines that intersect on the center point of the circle. Select the Pen Tool. Click to place the beginning anchor point at the exact center of the circle, where the guidelines intersect. Hold the SHIFT key to constrain the angle of the line you're about to create; Click on the circle path directly abouver the center (at the "12:00" position.) Hit the "V" key to get your Direct Selection Tool, select the line you just drew. Hit the "R" tool to select the Rotate tool. Hold the Option/ALT key and click on the Center point (also the beginning point of the line). This sets the point upon which the line will rotate. A dialog box will come up. Figure out how many spokes you want and divide that into 360°. Enter the resulting number into the field in the dialog box. Click on "COPY". Command/CTRL-D will repeat the rotation/copy. Repeat this until you complete all the spokes. |

Make your circle. Then go into Keyframe mode (CTRL Y) , so you can see your mid point, then draw a line from the center to the outer edge of your circle. Duplicate that line (CTRL D) and rotate it x-amount of degrees. Now everytime you press CTRL D a new line will copy in that amount of degrees off the last. To get the best effect, obviously choose a degree which is divisible by 360 degrees.
