Like I said before...post a decent Hi-res version your logo. Can't tell much from the zoomed in parts.

PSD is best, but a JPEG will do if that's the only choice.

Utopian,...check your private messages.

Thanks for the info colormonkey. The logo is going to be blown up to about 3 feet by 3 feet....not small.

In regards to mrbogus' comment, I know it was his personal opinion, but if you want to learn vectors, you should be using Illustrator since it is a Vector program, Photoshop is a bitmap program. The bezier tool in Illustrator can be your best friend. But dont trust me too much cause Im not much of an illustrator ;) just a thought...

Oh, I'm trying,...but this is going to take me a while to get used to this...this pen tool is tough. I don't like not being able to move my points wherever I want. Maybe I haven't figured that out yet, but the help files are worthless so I've been looking for Illustrator pen tutorials, which have been helpful to a degree. It's just going to take some time.

EDIT:

Nevermind,...I see that it changes when I work on a new layer

How do I change the color of the pen path. It went from blue to yellow and I can't see the yellow on the white document space

Check your P.M. box...

And, to change the color of the raw path, just double click on the layer you're working on in the Layers Palette. It should explain itself from there.

Well, I suggested using photoshop to learn with first because its vector tool tolerances are higher/easier to use than Illustrators (apparent) single pixel tolerance for grabbing and fooling with points.

Snapping distance can be changed...have a good look through your Illustrator preferences.

I've seen the snapping tolerance for guides, but haven't noticed any point tool tolerance level options yet. I"ll look again.
