I really doubt you could do something like this in C4D. Maya, i don't know about coz it's so darn expensive. I've seen something like this before, and i think he used a plugin (cant remember the name). I dont think it's possible to do this with generic tools. I saw another one of these, and the guy who made it, scripted his own renderer in C++ and put in code so his computer would create the image. I'd love to know how to do this kind of stuff..

It could well be a load of hyperNURB objects overlapping with a complicated texture.

No i don't think so. Go to www.aliaswavefront.com and see. About the post, i actually found out how to do it...You need C4D XL7.303 for it...and bhodiNUT SLA shaders. You create a deep blue background, then make some nurbs and apply some fusion shading, and noise in the luminance channel. |

The shaders (bhodiNUT SLA), come with Cinema 4DXL7.303, you need that .3 update and the disk of course. Here's something i whipped up Kubic, thanks for the inspiration! http://www.teamphotoshop.com/forum/vbforum/showthread.php?s=&postid=45041#post45041 |
