Possibly the most realistic 3D comp i've ever seen...

OH MY GOD, that is amazing.

I've seen more realstic models, but that's the most realistic human model i have ever seen.

look at the straps he has on by his shoulders and his ears, i can sort of tell theyre 3d and fake, but everything else, WOOOW!

yea, maybe a LITTLE bit from the hair but i can mainly tell from those straps and the ears

the thing is that it's rendered with a projection map of the actual actors face. it does look amazing from that angle, but move it and it loosely the effect completely.

as far as actors, there's a LOT more to be done aside from single-shot photorealism before we even think about it. human motion is a lot more complex than you prob realize...

I know...IK has to be the hardest thing to do in a 3D package. But even still, we're a lot closer than we were 3 years ago...
