how the heck do people get 3d objects in flash? i will not be convinced that for a cube they edit the verticie(sp?) every frame. And if someone says "actionscripts" im gonna go sit in a corner because i suck at actionscipts. well its beyond sucking. its really more like "i-cant-even-do-them-at-all". for example, a link in the cool sites area: www.mixart.com, the menu, how is that done? |

Well, there's some actionscript involved with the motion and menus there, but the objects themself were probably created with Swift3D or something similar. Chris |

swift 3d is good, though you need to pay.. there is an alternative, though its hard to get it to work right. You can look at www.flashkit.com and go to the tutorials section, they have a few on 3d stuff in flash there. Personally, I would go with Swift 3d, its fast and easy, and it doesnt take much effort to import to Flash itself.
