Search engine HELP PLEASE!

Hello,

I am having a problem i use frontpage to design and publish my website, and i decided to add a search engine and i am using frontpage web component because i dont know cgi, but my problem is i put in the search engine and tested it and it works fine and i have it on the left side of the page where all my content is but when i do a search it gives the results right under the search engine. How would i position it to where the results would come in the middle of the page and not right under the search engine.

i havn't use a search engine like this.so i don't the original code of this engine.

I did a search for "mattboy_slim" and couldn't find anything....deep inside I feel robbed.

i havn't use a search engine like this.so i don't the original code of this engine.

Well i am giving up on the search engine thing with frontpage.

but

I just downloaded a script called simple search 1.0 and it has a file called search.pl and this is the file i need to define the variables, so how do i go about opening the file and setting up everything?

pl => perl .... you need cgi-support to run the script

ok i got everything set and i tested it and its not working it says this.
