I need to talk to a flash movie VIA javascript. Is there come lovely "flashObject.paramName=whatever" that I can use?

Also, if this doesn't exist, I figure I can manually adjust the param tags via the DOM+javascript and reload the movie. Will this work?

Thanks,
Neil

I didn't search flashkit.com's forum but they may be a good place to check as well if those links above don't help out...

Thanks man, I'll poke around.

Ain't Moock the guy who had the tripped out cylindrical spinning menu thingy? His current site is disapointing if he's the same guy.

um, maybe, dunno. he wrote the definitive actionscript guide and speaks at a lot of conventions. he's definitely a coder and not a designer. his site's been boring (like the current version) for a while now, but he definitely knows his stuff...
