...but there's always things beyond a manual...I was just stating that the Maya manual (or encyclopedia, about the same weight)...is well written.

That's pretty good. I've actually never heard of the program (maybe I have... I don't know). I like it when manuals are atually usefull.

Maya is a super expensive 3d program (i mean SUPER expensive, around $7500 for Maya Complete).
