I am working on a feature film and have some stuff to remove fromt the background of some shots (ex - microphones, etc) and I even need to PUT ON some sunglasses on a guy in the background (continuity error). How is this normally done? With PhotoShop (frame by frame), then imported to After Effects?? Is this at least ONE way that it can be done? I am pretty proficient in PhotoShop but I don't know After Effects, don't have the time to learn it, and would like to save some $$ if the tasks can be done with PhotoShop.

Frame by frame I don't see why it couldn't be done in photoshop... It will be time consuming... but not knowing AE thats prolly the way I would go.

I suppose it could be done that way, very painfully. After Effects, shake, combustion, or any other compositing app would be the way to go, along with something like Silhouette Roto for paining objects out. |
