tutorial for flash intros?

does anyone know of a tutorial to make flash intros? i am definately a noob with flash and would like to make one for my site. any help would be appreciated.

there's a ton of different stuff involved, from your concept to creating elements in photoshop and flash. take a look thru the tutorials under the flash help menus as well as the tutorials here and that'll give you a place to start. then if you have more specific questions ask away...

Piece together different effects with one common theme. Make sure your message is conveyed and your site name and subject are highlighted throughout the intro. Make it seem like a movie trailer but for a web-site.

I highly recommend not making a Flash intro. Ever. Flash is good for some things, like built-in mp3 players maybe, but please, don't litter the web with more worthless Flash intros.
