Ok moving on a bit further i tried making a bust ( head and shoulders ) this ones a little bit better than the last. once again, im not moddeling it on a design or trying to make it look like anything. my technique for learning is dig in and play, so for this one i just opened up wings and got stuck in, letting my imagination create it as i went along. you can find it here once again. ps. the files are the ones titled with a H. sorry for displaying it this way :( constructive crits welcomed. :p |

Well done looks really great! can i see a wireframe without meshsmooth? In the grey renders, there looks as if there are some smoothing groups interfereing with the colour. Go to poly mode, ctrl-A, go to smoothing groups and click on any of the button that's not already clicked. Now your model's colour should be smoother. Cool work you're learking fast!
