hi hi, okay, so I was just wondernig, I imported a jpg to my flash file.. is there someway I can adjust the alpha on it now that its there?

convert to symbol -> movie clip... then adjust the alpha =]

you might look at using png files in flash rather than jpg's, for one because you can apply an alpha channel to them that works in flash, and second because if you use a jpg your quality is worse because its compressed twice, once when you save it out of photoshop and once when you save your flash movie (png is only compressed in flash).

I got it working, now I'm trying to include text from a seperate document, it seems to be working I just can't get it read html tags :/

With the new version of PS (CS) you can export as a SWF (not sure if this directly is related to your question, sorry).

glad to help. and html tag interpretation is pretty limited in flash, you might play with using hard returns to create some line spacing.
