looks real.
I'd love to see a version without the excessive noise and "over exposed" feel though.

Good work, however one looks at it!

paav, the noise all adds to the realism effect, it makes it look like the ISO is up on the camera and blends the whole thing in a lot better. The version without the noise looks obviously CG.

Cybling you are just trying to fool us...
You just went to a costume shop and bought that and put it on a table and photographed it!
Nice try...but you aren't fooling me...

the noise doesn't add to the realism effect, it just makes the composite look better ;) i had the same thought actually but i know what you mean, cg objects do blend in better with a bit of noise. i'd like to see one without the noise tho. lighting overall looks really nice, matches well, what does your light set-up look like?

nice work

It looks messy! its really just 6 spot lights... cant post a wire at the mo.

Vel, i use 3ds Max..costs around $2500 i think. I also used Photoshop to composit. Ive beem ding 3d stuff for 2 years though...its not the package you use, its how you use it. Software is just a tool. Get www.wings3d.com for free and you can do the same model.

Chris, ill try to post clean version and wires soon :D
