I made a newsbox from a tutorial at Kirupa.com. My question is, how can I have HTML text in the news box. It only allows normal text. I want to do HTML in it because I want to make bold, underline and hyperlink commands.

Make a text box. Give it the variable name 'text'. Go to frame 1 of your file. Click on actions, type in text = 'blahblahblah' You can even put < b> abd stuff in...like my news box on www.cyblingdesign.com |

Trust me, the way i did it is the easiest way. It's really easy. If you scroll through my news on my site i uploaded the whole scroll box .fla. I trust that you won't copy it completely... I used Flash 4,5 and MX for it...we upgrade a lot in work. |
