How do I make a mountain of 3d Ice?

well... i know 1 way...

- put a gradient (Black and White for example)... and make it going up and down with the white on bottom...
- now go to Filter>Disort>Ripple
Set it to max and Large...
-go to Filter>Brushstrokes>Crosshatch
Stroke length=50
Sharpness= 0
Strength= 1
- now u have a tight crystal line across... but ur not done yet!
- go to Filter>Disort>Wave
Fool with it till u get something u like :D
- now press Ctrl+U and press colorize and fool with the settings to the color u like
