illustrator, symbols not on keyboard...

hi,

Im trying to type the copyright symbol , i know its there, in the for instance Adobe lettertypes' but i dont know how to get it on paper.. Ive tried all my keyboard keys but no luck. So does anyone know how to get acces to all those extra (hidden?) symbols.

Have a look at your CharMap utility...this will show you all of the special characters available for the chosen font.
