Ok I'm new so this question will be pretty basic how can I add images and make them fade in and out from the background?

You should be able to adjust your alpha channels of the image you want to fade in and out. Use a motion tween to do this. Put your image in one frame. Create some empty frames and then create another keyframe in the very last frame. Then click on your first frame and create a motion tween. Then adjust the alpha of either the first or last image depending on which way you want it to fade. |

to add an image to a movie you can go to File>Import..

Steve, you might go through the tutorials under the help menu in Flash, they give a good overview of how to accomplish basic animation and other tasks in Flash. If after that you've got questions then fire away... Chris |
