how to change text?

I am wondering how to change the text to regular text like used on a web page. I was told to use anti-alaising but i cant seem to find it in adobe photoshop 6.0 . Could you tell me where it is?

In Photoshop 6 it is on the top toolbar the runs across the screen... it has an "aa" beside it. It might say something like "crisp", "none", "strong" or "smooth".
in previous versions of Photoshop it was in the text dialog box.
