I'm not sure how to make them anyone have some suggestions

One of the easiest ways is to take your elliptical marquee tool and draw out an oval and fill it with the color you want. Then take the same marquee and move it:



Then delete whats inside the marquee. Kind of a quick example, but that's the easiest way. Then you can play around with the Transform tools after to give it different perspectives.
