not deleting

Hi, just stopping in.

i was doing the ring tutorial here.

when i got to step 3 i couldnt delete the circle. i'm using p.s 5.5

are you trying to delete the background layer? might check to see that you're on a layer besides the bkgd.

look a few steps ahead to see the screenshot of your layers palette.
