I would duplicate the layer I want to use the effect on. Then use motion blur on the one under the clear one Well that what I would use! Hope this helps and that you can understand my crappy english ;)

Hey there Here is what I think he means: 1.Duiplicate the butterfly layer so now you have two 2.Select the butterfly layer that is behind the one in front 3. Motion blur the the layer, filter>motion blur on an angle of 0 4.play around with the positioning of the 2 layers and you should get what you want :D |
