Help needed making some example thumbnails...

Hello,

I have a question which I hope somebody can help me with. I have never taken the time to really learn Photoshop, but I'm OK with the basics.

What I need to make are essentially thumbnails like the ones on this page:

That is the best example I can find. I need to make some thumbnails of some badges and similar merchandise. I have the designs already made ready to paste in, but I need a way to give them professional looking circular borders as seen on the page above (obviously the borders also need to match the design in colour).

So basically what I need to do is make various designs look like genuine badges etc as has been done on the webpage above. If I can do it to a standard similar to the example page, I think it actually looks better and more professional than making the items, photographing them and making thumbnails with them.

Any help would be greatfully received
