Type tool problems!

Hello people ;)

I have problems with my Photoshop CS3 Extended version. The exact problem is that I cannot use the Type Tool perfect. Every time when I need a big text I must sometimes hit enter, but if I do that Photoshop does something else, he deselects the layer (text layer). So I can't type any further.

I have done this before I ask you:
- Check preferences and keybord shortcuts
- Reinstall Photoshop CS3 Extended

A lot of unusual PS behavior has been cured by deleting the preferences file. You might try that first.

Can you say me where the file is?

It doesn't help. Are there any other solutions?

I think I had this problem, I had to make sure when trying to add text that I lined up just right with the text tool or another layer would start, If I understand your dilemma.
