help creating photo border

hi all - trying to recreate this vintage border effects for a lot of photos on my website.



does anyone know an easy way that i can make a template and adapt for each one?

i am just a novice...but untill the experts comes along maybe i can be alittle help... . but i think one way... is maybe create a action .. actions are very usefull for repetitive things that your going to do from one image to another.... and you can also use them in batch processing ..

and i think you could probrably setup a overall template to utilize actions...

now i am assuming your using ps but don't know what version.. starting with cs2 they have what called smart objects... cs3 and above is better... but i believe with smart objects you can save the sequence... and then apply it to another image and then make individual adjust ments with the smartobject...

those are my ideas.. and the experts can give you better info and more details
