what just happened?

hi there people. i have CS3 and all was going fine but now when i try to use it every tool shows the white hand icon, and i cant figure out why... i don't remeberchanging any presets, but now i can't do anything...

any help would be much appreciated...

Try resetting the workspace.
Window->workspace->"choose one of them".
Post the result please.
