problem with fonts in ps6

Lately anything I type in Photoshop 6.0, it looks like italics even tho it's not set on italics. If I set it on italics afterwards, it slants it even more. I have to manually skew the text back just to straighten it out. Before, this never happened. Any ideas on how to fix this or what the problem may be?

Im not sure but try setting the text pallets to its default settings.
