make a spotlight

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to design an actual spotlight is shining light. I tried for a while but i can't figure out how to make it.

I'm not really sure what you are looking for.

A light colored "V" shape on a dark background coming from a weird origin could be "perceived" as a spot light. A round object in the distance with Color burn and dodge leading you to it could be "perceived as a spotlight.

You see what I'm getting at?

Be specific and I'm sure someone will be able to get you headed in the right direction.

ok, what i mean is to actually create a spotlight on the page, not the light that comes from a spotlight, but the actuall spotlight itself. kinda like the spotlight that shines the bat signal, except not as big.
