how do i

alright, i know u guys said to start at the beginning but the really newbie tutorials are quite boring and i have to do this for my project which is due soon..

anyways im trying to make a rounded edge tv-like panel that has a nice metallic border and the panelscreen somewhat seethrough.

i am having the most trouble with the metallic border.. heres what ive got so far

please remember this is my first interface, i was thinking of adding some wires to attach the panel to the shape.

give me some advice

Make that metal border a little thicker and give it a little bevel and maybe a slight drop shadow and see if you like that better.
