Hi, I am a newbie using photoshop. I tried out the eyeball turorial but at 7 step: "Now set the layer mode to color dodge on the Highlight1 layer and go to filter/blur/guassian blur and use a setting of about 7 or so. " at this point I did not get the correct effect, instead of getting a white blur effect I always got a red blur effect. I tried it more then onces, on different days but I always get the same effect... Can anybody help me Thanks foreward |

ahhhh, you know what? I'll bet that "red" IS the mask. You are in "quick mask" mode I figure....and if you dont worrie about it and keep on goin on the tutorial it'll come out right... or look in the layers/channels pallet and find the mask channel and make a selection out of it. |
