probably a very simple answer but...

i really cant describe this so i think its best i just put a picture to show you what i mean. the box thats usually on the right to organise layers seems to ahve gone missing (i think someone has been playing around who shouldnt have been), is there any way i can get this back?! i use it for alot of things and photoshop is proving to be a bit useless not being able to flick throgh the layers

in my ps cs , under the windows menu, you checkmark "layers"
