Help extracting a logo

I have that picture and would like to extract both logos and enlarge them. I tried using magic wand but it was hard. Plus a lot of the lines are not very straight.

Any tips? It looks very poor quality when I do it.

I think you'll have a better product if you trace them vector.

However if you want to extract them try making your selections on channels

vector tracing, good idea.

any tutorials on doing either vector or any other ideas? i still can't get a clean image, it looks a bit ugly when i enlarge it
