CS2 crashing/hanging/random errors

I get hanging, crashing, freezing, and random errors when I'm running Photoshop CS2 at random times. It's really hard to explain, it just happens, and usually it happens when ANY other program other than Photoshop is running. Any way I can fix this? Thanks

Try holding down ctr+shift+alt+W while launching PS... you'll be prompted to delete your prefs file
