How do I add borders to graphics I've made? Im really new at this so help me out please

I think the simplest way (so u will get a simple border) is this: -) Make a new layer -) Select all (CTRL-A) -) Select a border: Menu select-->border and then u must chose hom much pixels u want, depending how thick u want ur border (I think "3" will give u a fine thin border) -) Then u must fill it with a color u want (Edit--> Fill... ; or the paint-bucket a few times) -) Then u can add an easy "3D-effect" by right clicking ur layer (in the layer-farme) and chosing "Blending options" and tick "Bevel and Emboss". U can try to optimize this or add a few more "Blending options" but if u do all this u should have a nice simple border; I hope :D . |
