Lasso tool feather

Hi,

if I select area with lasso tool with like 10px feather,
is there way to lower that feather value after that?

Select -> Feather: that only makes feather value larger.

Save that selection as an alpha channel, then manipulate the alpha channel by using the Levels dialogue.
