Hm that's a strange one. I'd just try making the image larger than you really need, doing that effect, and then cropping it in to cut that part out. Sometimes when you use that zoom blur thing it doesn't work all the way out past the edges, so you get that effect where it doesn't blur the corners. At least I think that's what's going on.

Magnetic, I took a look at your picture, and I saw the blue one, with a zoom effect to it. I'm guessing that's the right one. Are you referring to the corners of the picture that seem pixelated? If so, which way are you saving it? Are you going to "save for web" or are you just doing a "save as"? If you go to FILE>SAVE FOR WEB and you're going to save it as a .jpg, you might need to move the option to MAXIMUM in settings. But you should also change the .jpg setting and try to save as a .gif file. Then while you're in this area, you can compare settings by clicking on the tabs up top on the SAVE FOR WEB window. Another option is you may also want to flatten your layers (LAYER>FLATTEN IMAGE) before you SAVE FOR WEB and then once you save it, undo the "flatten layers" in the history palette to keep your layers. If this doesn't help or you need more information or clarity, in case I'm not clear, just post here again and I'll see what we can do. Other than that you may want to go for Deker's advice and start with a larger canvas size and then use your selection tool or crop tool for the part you want and crop that sucker to size so your edges stay crisp and clean. Let me know what happens man. Cheers! |
