Hi, I changed a setting by accident somehow. I use a four monitor system. When I used to hit "Print Screen," than in PS7, Ctrl + N, Ctrl + V, I would have a shot of all four screens at the time of the print screen. What happens is, the screen with the TV on it, somehow stays live, instead of a frozen shot. Any ideas of what I did. Thanks. |

Usually print screen doesn't capture frames of video. At least I think that's what you mean by the TV being on one screen. Has it captured frames of video before? You may try an actually screenshot taking program rather than Printscreen, most of those can take still shots of video.

The thing is, it always worked. Whatever was on the TV, would be captured like a snapshot. Now, the print shot, in the place of the monitor with the TV, stays live. If you move the window around in PS, you can see the different parts of the TV screen, live. Very weird. Here, have a look at the way it was before I changes something. http://www.mcd4x4.com/printscreen.htm

You're saying the video is playing in Photoshop? Hm. That's impossible, I must not understand what you're saying.

Yes, you have it right, the only thing is, the live picture in the PS7 screen, the left one (monitor 1) only has the section that it's would be over. If I grab the window, the screen shot, and move it around the screen, a different part of screen one is seen in the small window inside PS7 on screen 2. get it? Very strange. It used to be like the link I showed ya. Get this.. If I save to web, than go into the folder, looking at the screen shot, monitor one is "STILL LIVE" What I want to do is be able to have it like the picture I showed you. This one is a very hard one to explain becaue it's so crazy. Would it help if I gave you my phone number?

NOT impossible. I heard about this happening several years ago, but it didn't affect me, and was fairly uncommon, so I don't recall why it happens or how to fix it. I know that's of no help, but I just wanted to confirm that you're not the only one this has happened to. |
