Background ?

Can you make a full website in photoshop, and if possible how would you do it withouth making the whole webpage a picture file? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

No you can't create a whole website in photoshop. You can create the layout of course. Then you can use imageready to cut it up and export as HTML, but it's better to hand code or get a good program like Dreamweaver.

Also, when you need your website to contain text, you are going to have to know some HTML.

well im fairly advanced w/ html, how would i create my layout like what size in photoshop and then what from thier?

it's possible to create the complete website in photoshop, when you define your slices you can set the slice to be either active slice or a text, also you can define URL links, Alt tags and much more, make a slice and select slice selection tool and double click on the slice you'l see many more options,

the only issue would be the size, and load time...
