I got some pics taken from my cellphone that I just can't read due to the blurryness from the picture. Is there any filter I can apply or something I can do to make what is written readable? Any help would be appreciated. I will post one of the pics as an example so you guys can give me some tips. Thanks in advance |

Ouch. That is way too blurred to be revived. But if you want to know how to sharpen it, first copy the layer. Then apply a High Pass filter (I think it's under Filter->Other) and experiment with the pixel value. Then set the blending mode of the layer to Soft Light (If that doesn't help, play with the blending mode) But I highly doubt you'll be able to make a picture like that clear. |

Thanks for the reply. Well, I don't really want to make it extra sharp, all I really want is to read whatever is says under the word Lim. I'll try your method and post back the results. Thanks again. |

Knowing calc. problems, it's the limit of the fucntion as x approaches 2. Which happens to be -1 with a discontinuity at (2, -1). Probably. :p

Yeah, that's the easy one. But I have a dozen more pics with more difficult problems. That's the only hint our math teacher gave us for the final exam.

I'm wondering why you "forgot" to say that you "stole" those pictures from your teacher...

The information you need is lost. You'll never get it readable again I'm afraid.

Indeed, there arent programs that can just 'guess' what info (read: pixels) there was lost. Same goes for black and white photos, there arent programs that can just reproduce the colors from the actual scene. |
