I couldn't figure out how to replicate that exact effect, but here's something close. You could tweak it from here and experiment to get the desired effect 1. Create a new layer on top of the picture 2. Select the gradient tool and then the preset 'Spectrum' 3. On the gradient toolbar, select the icon in the middle (tooltop: angle gradient) 4. Click from the middle of your gradient and drag to the edge 5. Gaussian blur the gradient if you want 6. Now experiment with blending modes of the gradient layer and the constrast/brightness of the actual picture. |

haha. I just tried to figure out a proceedure for this after reading your post, but NOT reading Galaphile's post. Turns out I should have read his post, because the proceedure I came up with is exactly what you just said Galaphile. lol. Oh well. I think it works pretty good. (this image should be small enough to display in the thread I hope, 13kb. If not then sorry mods, just make it a link.) |
